Green Hydrogen

Green Hydrogen is produced through water treatment, electrolysis, gas purification, drying and compression of hydrogen of not more than 2 kg CO2 equivalent / kg H2.

Uses

Clean Energy Source: Green hydrogen can be used as a clean source of energy for various applications, including electricity generation, heating, and transportation.

Electricity Generation: Hydrogen can be used in fuel cells to generate electricity. This is particularly valuable for providing backup power and grid stability, especially in regions with intermittent renewable energy sources like wind and solar.

Powering Fuel Cells: Green hydrogen is used for fueling fuel cells in various sectors, including stationary power generation, vehicles, and portable devices, providing a reliable and clean power source.

Transportation Fuel: Green hydrogen can be used as a clean fuel for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. It offers longer ranges and shorter refueling times compared to electric batteries.

Decarbonizing Industrial Processes: Green hydrogen can replace fossil fuels in various industrial applications, such as ammonia and methanol production, reducing carbon emissions from these processes.

Steel Production: In the steel industry, hydrogen can be used to replace coke in the iron ore reduction process, leading to lower carbon emissions in steel production.

Decarbonizing Heavy Industry: Green hydrogen can play a pivotal role in decarbonizing heavy industries like cement and petrochemicals, where electrification may not be as feasible.

Backup Power: Green hydrogen can serve as a reliable backup power source, ensuring energy resilience during power outages or emergencies.
